LPG Cylinders

Rule Change: SBI has abolished this service… This is one of the major changes that have been introduced in the country since today, and LPG cylinders have become cheaper. Rule Modifications Since December 1st: In case you rely on the mCash facility of SBI, it is no longer in existence today. The bank has also posted an alert on the same on its website. Several reforms have also taken effect in the country beginning December 1st.

It is the first month of the year, December, which is the last month of the year; as well as the first month of the year when several significant changes come into effect (Rule Change From 1st December). These will affect all the LPG users, banking facilities, railway and air travellers. On the one hand, oil market companies have brought relief and shock since December 1, 2025, but on the other hand, the largest governmental bank in the country, SBI, has shut down one of its services (SBI MCASH). Some tasks are done during the month of December because their deadline will be over during this month.

SBI stops the mCASH service today

SBI, the largest bank in the country, has also made some changes starting 1st December, and under it, it has shut down its mCash service (SBI MCash Service Close). SBI consumers with this service will not claim payments using the mCash link. The bank has also been notifying its customers in this connection and compelling its customers to utilise secure methods such as UPI, IMPS, NEFT and RTGS. We will tell you that mCash was a real-time money transfer service of State Bank, with the help of which money could be sent without an account number and IFSC, just through the mobile number.

LPG cylinders are getting cheaper

On the first of December. Among LPG users, there has been some relief when oil marketing companies cut their prices, which have been effective since 1st December (1st December LPG Price Cut). But even this time around, the cost of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders has been cut. The price has reduced by 10 per cylinder in Delhi and Kolkata and by 11 per cylinder in Chennai and Mumbai.

Air travel may go up in cost

At the beginning of each month, oil marketing companies not only revise the prices on LPG cylinders but also revise the price of air turbine fuel (ATF) and publish new rates. In this case, there has been a shock to companies, where there has been an increase in the prices of ATF.
Considering the new rates that will be in effect since December 1, 2025, in Delhi, the rate was 94,543.02 per kiloliter, in Mumbai it was 88,444.87 per kiloliter and in Chennai it was 98,089.68 per kiloliter, and in Kolkata it was 97,549.18 per kiloliter. Another issue that may raise travelling costs is the rise in the cost of ATF.
